Alright girls if you are new to wearing wigs and you don't know where to start with a wig grip or a wig cap should I wear one? Should I wear both? Should I wear none? That is totally your preference you have to find out what is best for you what you like, what's comfortable for you um I wear a grip and a cap or right now I'm wearing a grip cap combo um but I started out with a different grip so I kind of want to go over what kind of different grips that there are out there that you might be running across and not sure what you want um like I said it is total preference you have to find what works best for you and what works for me might not work for you or what works for this person might not work for you so it's trial and error it is just trying out different things so when I first started I wore one of the grips that had the lace on there and when you are putting those on you're gonna put them on just like you know right there and tighten them up as much as you want then you can put a wig cap on there and when I first started I use the tan colored wig caps now I use the black wig cap or like I said I use the combo and you know you just put That over your natural hair onto your cap totally simple and this is what I wore at first this particular grip and I had went out to dinner with some friends and was wearing a JB extension wearing Mimi and she kept slipping off my head not like totally off my head but she was slipping so I thought I don't like that I need to find something else so I saw one of the other wig sisters on here and she was doing we grab this one off here she was doing the silicone grip so I bought those now the silicone grip ah this was great it's got nubbies on it and I think the nubbies go on the outside but I wore them on the inside because I felt like that gripped it to my head better but I wore this and a cap and I said this worked great for a while so those little nubbies start hurt my head so I I stopped wearing this one so then I found a velvet with the silicone with the lace and I use that for a while and that's okay um it's it was kind of thin on the ground in the back and I kind of like it to be thicker back there so I use this and like it was okay but then I saw somebody on here talking about the Dream Lover wig grips so I had bought in the beginning just the regular Size and I wear wore this with a cap like I said I like to wear the black cap because I feel like the black cap hides the knots on those lace front wigs better you I I I don't notice them nobody else has said anything to me about hey I can see your knots and not that they probably say anyway but I do like the black cap and I like the the darker grips they see I feel like they match my hair better they match most of my wigs better cause I usually wear about the same color you know the light Browns the hazelnut colors those type of colors so I use one of these great this comes in a two pack for like 9 99 goodbye then I saw the JB extension came out with a grip with the extended grip and I love this one and again you just put it on just like you would want your other cups but I feel like the back it kind of tapers down and I can make this as tight as I want to and wear that and I wore again my black wig cap and this works great any of the dream lover wig grips work great for me again, what works for me may not work for you these are just different options you can try then the best thing ever happened Dream Lover came out with the grip and cap combo which I love because I do like wearing a cap I like my bio hair to be up into a cap some people like it some people don't some people don't do any of it but again, it's got the extended grip on the front which is velvet it's very comfortable but you got that cap and you can just put everything in there and again it's got the tapering down on the back with the the strong Velcro and then I just pull it back to where I need it and everybody's done the shaking of the head moving back and forth to see how your wig doesn't fall off and they're not wrong cause it doesn't and I've got a couple videos on here that shows that but I kind of just wanted to come on here today just to show new beginning wig wearers there's a lot of different options and you have to pick what's best for you this is a journey for you uh, I love to wear my wigs I wear them everyday I didn't wear them today and I felt I feel like I should have had a wig on and it took me longer to do my hair so it's a wig thing for me but you have to experiment you have to find out what works best for you it's total trial and error so anyway just wanted to give you some information I will drop the Dream Lover wig grips in The yellow or the orange shopping cart here and you can go check them out.
